Always welcoming, great service, and one of the best Hamburgers in town!
Ordered the Westy HB to go which is my new favorite! Snack Attack has an extensive beer list when in the mood, plus saw canned wine as an option.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 3, 2023
Great vibe! Super nice staff. Guy brought me napkins because he noticed I was needing them. The food is very good. Cooked hot n fresh. I got the philster which is a cheesesteak and it was awesome. Perfectly cooked.

The food was good and the local soda tap also was better than traditional Pepsi or coke. Their prices were a little high compared to surrounding similar places.

I should preface that my family has been on a weekly weekend warrior journey to find the best sandwiches within an hour or closer to home, which is what lead us to this location (Thanks to Yelp reviews)
Honest Review:
Sandwiches were good, but I may have hyped it up too much for myself before the visit. I really thought it was going to be an exceptional sandwich based on other reviews and descriptions of the sandwiches, but it was really just a good sandwich. It was not terrible, flavors were ok, but nothing I would go out of my way again to experience (drove nearly an hour to experience it). Prices were also pretty high for what I would say was a good, but not phenomenal sandwich. While there I didn't see that they offered any combos so you pay about $12 for a sandwich, then another $3 for a bag of chips, and several more dollars for a beverage (although they do have some awesome local made soda in their fountain and great beer selection).
Note: We ordered the Turkavo, Italiano, and a Build Your Own Turkey Sandwich for the kiddo
Service was great! Everyone was pleasant and upbeat! Food didn't take long at all, but again they were just cold sandwiches so that makes sense. Could hear the kitchen staff engaging with each other and the servers in fun and positive way which shows they enjoy each other and where they work. Staff also engaged with customers in a great upbeat way.
Ambiance was nice. You can tell it's a well maintained shop and the owners are proud! Cute decor and proud to be a local business, which is great. The energy picked up when more folks showed up at the cozy bar, which had lots of great beer options!
Overall, not a terrible experience at all, but I feel like for the cost and distance I would prefer a little something else (sandwich-wise). May make a visit if they have a happy hour though, because they really do have some great beverage options for everyone (and maybe I would try a different sandwich to truly know if it is worth the time/money)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Sunny! Thank you so much for giving us a try and leaving an honest review! Love to hear that you traveled so far to give us a try! Yes, we are priced slightly higher than most sandwich, “shops”, and that is due to being more of a true restaurant, being locally owned, serving up boars head meats and cheeses plus other high-quality ingredients like Rocky Mountain soda company that you mentioned. We do aim to provide a great value and experience overall, and would love to see you in again sooner than later! Cheers!

We decided to venture out to Fort Collins today and this sandwich shop caught our eye! It is located down the street from the CSU. Parking might be a tad trick since the lot is small.
Overall, the staff was very friendly and attentive. I grabbed a warm Italiano sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. You can also build your own sandwich which is major plus in my book. You can even add potato chips on your sandwiches if an additional cost. They also have a variety of salads their menu.
If you are looking for a cold beer to go along with your sandwich/salads, I highly recommend picking out one of the many local beers they have on tap!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Had an absolutely nightmarish experience here. Ordered a hot sandwich which was delivered cold. When asked to reheat the sandwich i was told that i needed to specify previously that i wanted a "melt" instead of a hot sandwich.. (okay? That really should be specified when ordering). The reheated sandwich i received was literally somehow colder than before. I tried taking a bite and was completely disgusted to find that the sandwich meat was slimy and smelled bad. I paid almost $30 for these two sandwiches which i was unable to stomach eating more than 2 bites of. when i brought my issue to the attention of the manager he said "too bad" and refused to help fix the problem, when i asked to speak with his boss he said he couldn't do that. Upon further insistence that i needed to speak to his boss he reluctantly gave me his business card. I called the number on the phone and left a message politely asking for a callback. The owner then called me back 30 mins later and tried to shame me for requesting help, he said he had to put his dog down that day and was basically trying to make me feel bad for having a bad experience at his restaurant and not getting the help i deserved. He then explained that what his employee did for me (reheating the sandwich) was technically illegal and that it was somehow my fault for asking him to heat this cold sandwich (absurd). After googling food laws in CO i found that unless they don't heat it to the appropriate temperature, which they didn't, then it's perfectly legal to reheat cold food. Basically this Restaraunt is borderline unethical. Ordering for a hot sandwich is too much to ask for here apparently. They brag about never using microwaves but the result seems to be that they struggle to deliver hot or even lukewarm food.
If you complain about their over priced cold disgusting sandwiches be prepared to be met by accusations, insults and total outright denial.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi there Smoog. To be honest your recollection of what happened is very different that what we heard from our staff. And anyone that has no compassion for someone in the middle of putting their 13 dog down downs seem to be a nice human. Not even going to try and respond this besides it’s a bummer you didn’t have a good experience at our restaurant but your actions were very rude and aggressive towards our staff and owner. Sure mistakes happen but we don’t serve cold food when properly ordered to be hot. We actually get feedback that it can be too hot coming off the grill lol. We are also a very ethical restaurant so your claims are untrue and unnecessary. We wish you well cheers!

I came into Snack Attack the other week midday on my break from work. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and loved the convenient location to my job. I walked in thinking it could be my new regular hangout spot on break- great beer selection, a decent menu, a nice vibe.
The service will be the reason I will not return. I believe it was the owner running the bar, where I sat. I felt like I was an annoyance, unwelcome and he seemed more interested in conversing with the other service industry workers on their break. I ordered one beer at 230. I wanted a 10 oz due to having to return to work but I wasn't asked and given the 16 oz. Okay, no problem I just won't drink it all. After I ordered my beer, I saw a sign that said happy hour was from 3-6. I slowly sipped my beer and ate my food. At 320, I had finished less than half the beer. I asked if I could get it on happy hour. I had only ordered one and it was still mostly full at this point (20 min after happy hour started.) His answer and tone was extremely rude saying it won't apply since I ordered it before 3 before swiftly walking away. So I really wanted a 10 oz, was given a 16 oz and then not given a happy hour discount even though it was technically happy hour.
I was a server for 10 years and I have never once denied someone happy hour prices nor have I been denied a request like this at another restaurant. (Usually the opposite and they take the initiative to ring things under happy hour prices. Whether communicating and asking if you're still be planning on being there when happy hour started and waiting to ring it in or honoring it without the customer even asking.) It was his rude tone and annoyance that threw me off. It was my first time in, I didn't see the happy hour prices and hours until after I ordered my beer. I would have waited until 3 to order if I knew. Sure he may have had to make an extra effort to delete the beer off the tab and re ring it in under happy hour prices. It's called good customer service. I didn't drink the whole beer, I was nursing it and simply asking if I could get it on happy hour.
One star for draft beer selection, one star for pretty decent menu/nice space. Plenty of other restaurants in the area offer these things plus welcoming, attentive customer service. Take your business somewhere else!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Cassie! That’s a bummer you didn’t have a great experience with us. We would like to take this opportunity to clear up some misunderstanding.
We do remember the interaction with you. We asked if you wanted a goblet or a pint and you responded with pint which is the 16oz. If we miss understood apologies there.
Regarding Happy Hour. In your review you specifically said you ordered at 2:30. Our happy hour runs from 3-5pm, you ordered before 3 so unfortunately your order does not quality for happy hour pricing. If we applied your drink to happy hour pricing we would need to do that for everyone and there wouldn’t be a reason for happy hour deals. That’s very interesting as we’ve never heard of this as a standard in our industry (with experience of over 20 years).
We are a family owned business and we take a lot of pride in running a functional business. Maybe you’ve never worked for small family owned businesses as not ringing in appropriately would be giving unapproved discounts and loosing money on a sale.
We have 28 draft lines with beers from all over NOCO, we also include ciders, hard teas and seltzers. We are not only prideful of our selection but many customers give us props for what we offer.
Our menu is full of great menu items with high quality ingredients.
Maybe you are not our customer and that’s ok too! We want people in that appreciate what we offer and we know we won’t get all guests.
If you’d like to discuss the exclusivity of happy hour pricing and running a profitable restaurant we invite you to come in and have a conversation with us.
We also invite you to come in and give us another try!
Other than that happy holidays and cheers!

This is a terrific place. First of all, the food is excellent! I had a fully loaded salad and my husband (the sandwich man) had the ham melty and raved about the flavors. Secondly, the selection of beers and ciders is terrific and local. My husband is celiac and they carry Colorado ciders and even a local gluten free beer ((Hallidaily) on tap. The service was excellent and there's an outdoor patio.
