This month, JA-Rocky Mountain partnered with CNBC to host a panel featuring local entrepreneurs at the JA Free Enterprise Center. Students from Bear Creek High School experienced the Daniels Fund JA Dream Accelerator as CNBC filmed the students, asking them questions about how the program helps prepare them for the future. They then listened to the panel share their stories and experiences on how they worked their way into the successful business owners they are now. The panel featured Mowa Haile (Sky Blue Builders, LLC), Lara Merriken (LARABAR), Darian Simon (BE A GOOD PERSON ), Robin Thurston (Outside), and Camila Uzcategui, PhD (Vitro3D), introduced by Oogie's Popcorn founder Darrin Foster. Sharon Epperson, CNBC's Senior Personal Finance Correspondent moderated the event. Afterward, students received CNBC's new book, "In Pursuit of Success", which shares the stories of additional local entrepreneurs. Watch the full CNBC segment here: https://lnkd.in/gzeX3nPV

It was a RECORD-BREAKING day at Robert & Judi Newman JA Finance Park, presented by Transamerica! 156 students from Newton Middle School and Boston K-8 School participated in the program, marking the most students we've hosted in an individual day so far at the Park! We would like to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers from FirstBank who helped implement the day's lessons and shared their own stories and experiences to provide real-world perspectives for the students. We can't wait to set more records as we continue to inspire and prepare young people for success and encourage them to take control of their future! #BoundlessPossibility

The Denver Broncos Football Club Foundation recently featured JA-Rocky Mountain in one of their Career Pathways Grant Spotlights. As the sponsor of the Daniels Fund JA Dream Accelerator’s Picture Your Strengths experience, the Foundation helps students gain perspective on how their personal qualities, strengths, and aspirations can provide the foundation for passion-driven careers. In addition to providing financial support, Broncos staff members recently volunteered at the JA Dream Accelerator, guiding students from Aurora West College Preparatory Academy through the program. The JA Dream Accelerator officially opened to students in the fall of 2023, and 100% of participating educators recommend the experience. We thank the Denver Broncos Foundation for their support and commitment towards inspiring and preparing the next generation for success, and for spotlighting Junior Achievement and the JA Dream Accelerator!
